In late 2020 I purchased a Leica M6 35mm film camera.

On my walks with my son around our neighbourhood, I shot the fall colours, the local community centre and the various paths we have used. Using 35mm film has been a wonderful reminder of the feeling I had when I first began making photographs. Mystery, light, space and time blend together in this process.

The central subjects of this body of work has been the Wallace Emerson Community Centre and the Galleria Mall in Toronto. The Wallace Emerson Community Centre was built in 1982 and is slated to be demolished in 2021. Upon finding out that these structures are set to be demolished further fuelled my desire to capture it and commemorate it with my camera.
